Analytical skills:

Pharmacists frequently offer advice to patients. They might

Computer skills:
Pharmacists need computer skills to use any electronic
health record (EHR) systems that their organization has adopted
Detail Oriented:
Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of
the prescriptions they fill, because improper use of medication can pose
serious health risks. Pharmacists must be able to find the information that
they need to make decisions about what medications are appropriate for each
patient
Managerial Skills:
Pharmacists—particularly those who run a retail
pharmacy—must have good managerial skills, including managing inventory and
overseeing a staff

Job Description
- Fill prescriptions, verifying instructions from physicians on the proper amounts of medication to give to patients
- Check whether the prescription will interact negatively with other drugs that a patient is taking or any medical conditions the patient has
- Ordering, selling and controlling medicines and other stock
- Providing advice about health issues, symptoms and medications in response to customer enquiries
- Managing budgets and keeping statistical and financial records
- Check whether the prescription will interact negatively with other drugs that a patient is taking or any medical conditions the patient has
- Instruct patients on how and when to take a prescribed medicine and inform them about potential side effects they may experience from taking the medicine
- Advise patients about general health topics, such as diet, exercise, and managing stress, and on other issues, such as what equipment or supplies would be best to treat a health problem
- Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in training (interns)
- Keep records and do other administrative tasks
- Proper stock management

Overview:
The overall purpose of this
consultancy is to clean and analyze the baseline, 6 months and 12 months data
collected from the prospective cohort study and provide the analysis results to
the organization. The data analysis will consist of descriptive as well as more
detailed analysis which could include regression modelling and calculating
hazard ratios and relative risks.
Qualification
and Experience Required
- Advanced university degree (Masters or higher) in Public Health or Biostatistics or other social sciences disciplines with special focus on family planning statistics, monitoring and evaluation, life tables and survival rates analysis
- Substantive expertise in analyzing survey data
- Experience in Family planning project monitoring and evaluation or survey management
- Prior work experience with DHS data especially analysis of contraceptive calendar
- Excellent computer and other IT skills, good command of statistical application such as STATA, SPSS, R. Stata and SPSS preferable

PHASE Nepal is a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by

Kathmandu, and Sindhupalchok districts of Nepal. For the last
13years, PHASE Nepal has been improving the livelihoods of rural people by

- Should have completed Health Assistant or PCL Staff Nursing Degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a clinical setting, seeing patients, providing nursing care, providing safer motherhood cares, delivery services, newborn care, HMIS recording, reporting, and documentation.
- Candidates, who have worked with government hospitals, PHC or health posts, have received SBA training and having good computer skill will be given priority.
Responsibilities:
- The Health Assistant and Staff Nurse will work together with the government health workers in the respective health posts or health clinics. This involves both curative as well as preventive health services.
- Provide health education sessions to the beneficiaries of the catchment area of the health post/clinic.

Basic
Salary: NPR. 31,517 /- per month

Position Summary:
The Manager leads the Empowerment and Gender Section under the direct supervision of program director; responsible to develop strategies and actions; engages in empowering women and youth focusing to the marginalized and vulnerable communities adopting gender transformative approach in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead to develop strategies to foster women’s empowerment and gender equality in SRHR areas in close coordination with other divisions and sections at FPAN and relevant partner organizations and International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
- Establish functional partnership with organizations working for empowerment and gender equality of women and youth.
- Develop gender sensitive indicators to be helpful to design, develop, monitor and evaluate women empowerment and gender equality program.
- Develop/design/implement women/youth empowerment and gender equality program for ensuring SRHR of women and youth to be implemented at national, subnational and local level.
- Monitor and assess the program activities/progress with gender sensitive angle.
- Provide technical support/organize capacity building program for the field level staff to enhance their skills on women/youth empowerment and gender transformative approach.
- Lead development of proposals for gender equality and women’s empowerment in SRHR context to be submitted to international, national and local funding agencies including government.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and future donors.
Qualifications and Background:
Education: Master degree in gender studies/public health/ sexual reproductive health/community empowerment/sociology/international development.
Languages: Excellent English and Nepali language (written and spoken)
Experience: The candidate should have at least five years’ experience in women empowerment and gender equality program in reputed international and/or national institutions; demonstrated commitment to issues and programs in gender equality and women’s empowerment, and experience with new program development and implementation. This person should have field program experience with gendered approaches to sexual and reproductive health and rights.
